A private jet won’ take very much off of most flight times, though you may be able to go at a slightly faster speed as commercial flights don’t go as fast as they could to improve fuel economy. What chartering, or owning, a private jet will do though is make the world closer in terms of how long it takes from leaving your front door or office to reaching your meeting, hotel or other destination almost anywhere in the world. A private jet usually only needs a small airport or even a local airfield to land so you can have much less travel time to and from airports for a start and once there you really save time. A commercial flight of even only an hour still takes perhaps two hours to board after check in and then another hour or more to get from and out of the airport via passport control and baggage reclaim: with a private jet you are cutting this out and you can often be driven straight to a private jet and have a car waiting for you at the other end so no precious time is lost, plus the stress is also removed that getting to and through an airport involves.
