To close a sale you may feel you really need to see a client, they may be considering other options as well and you need to make sure they get to see you and your operation before making a decision: after all people do business with people in companies not companies themselves. If you want a client to visit you from a different city or a different state though then you can’t expect them to head to the airport and wait for hours to get an overpriced cramped flight to an airport potentially miles still from your offices. Offer your client a private jet though and their protestations may cease and their diary magically become free, assuming they aren’t scared of flying; most people enjoy a private flight and a bit of luxury and if someone else is paying all the better. For busy business people including those at decision making level such as CEOs and owners a day spent traveling for a one or two hour meeting is a waste: by supplying a jet they can go straight to their nearest small airport and get straight on to a flight then get straight to another airport or airfield right near your location where you can meet them.
